Michael R. Mainwaring MBA, MSc
Michael has about 35 years experience as a lecturer, having lectured to students writing professional exams, as well as university students. His career took him lecturing in Malaysia, Singapore, Hong-Kong, Jamaica, Trinidad, Eire (Ireland), India and Cyprus.
Michael’s specialist areas include: Corporate Strategy, Change Management, Leadership Skills and International Business.
Michael has co-authored two publications: “Business and Sociology” and “Organisation and Management”.

Jas Naidoo FCCA, ACIS, CC(TS)
Jas has 28 years teaching experience. He teaches at a number of blue chip colleges on the ACCA, CIMA and CIM professional courses. He has also taught in 8 countries.
Jas has taught at City Banking College ever since Mohamed Khan (The Principal of the College) took over. Even though he is a freelance lecturer, he has a tremendous loyalty to both the College and Mohamed because of the high standards that are demanded of lecturers and the ethos of the College that the most important people in the College are the STUDENTS.
The College is a “leading light” in the sector and has gained an unparalleled reputation over the years mainly through student recommendations.

Hamid Khan MSc
Hamid has brought to CBC considerable real world experience. He has worked in very senior positions which included serving as a director on the Boards of four major public corporations. His last five years with central government were spent as Head of Administration of a government’s Ministry of Trade, Tourism and Industry in a South American country.
His tenure with Central Government also included his involvement in the restructuring and rationalisation of the civil service and his active participation at bi-lateral and multi-lateral meetings/conferences of local and regional industrial development and finance agencies, regional trading blocs, arms of the United Nations and NAFTA.
For eleven years, Hamid has lectured to our students who have pursued qualifications of the Charted Institute of Bankers and Certificates/Diplomas/Degrees awarded by the University of Leicester and London Metropolitan University.
Hamid’s specialist areas include: Project Planning/Evaluation/Management, International Economics and Finance, Macroeconomic Policy and Quantitative Methods.






Robert Wood MBA, FCCA, FCMA, PGCE
Robert has 23 years teaching experience and 25 years professional/industrial experience. He has held several directorial positions over the years which include both finance and managing director roles. He currently holds two non-executive director roles in construction and manufacturing businesses and is head of Kaplan’s school of management in London. He lectures on accountancy and strategy related areas and specialises in leadership, governance and change. He lectures on CBC’s MBA programmes and delivers on professional courses at other colleges which aim at ACCA and CIMA qualifications.

Baffuor Osei-Akoto Ntim MBA(Finance)
Before joining the academic staff of City Banking College, Baffuor worked in a merchant bank of Ghana and as a Finance Officer and Field Research Co-ordinator of two UK institutions.
At CBC, Baffuor has been lecturing to students at the first and second year levels and those enrolled to do the MBA.
Baffuor specialist areas include: Business strategy, International Finance and Marketing.
